So, yes, we've gotten a westy up and running, took some working, but it's in great shape for an 84.
Very little rust and runs pretty well after some tuning up. We are hoping to give it a full test run next weekend and if we like it maybe go for a full restore. It's definitely a lot of fun, stove, sink and electric all work and everything. There are tons of great communities and sites for restoring the vw vans, I've stored a bunch of the links on delicious. It'll be great for biking, camping, and just about any other outdoor activity and it's goofy fun to drive. Very excited:).

We were hanging out in Vermont, still putting off putting the house on the market. The drive up get's longer and longer with two dogs and a baby. I am considering the Catskill State Park area, I like Big Indian, but have to check it out:). Check out the latest pics on flickr.
